School Tours
On a tour you will observe a classroom, watch students collaborate, and see how our teachers make thinking visible through project-based learning. A member of our team will walk you through the school and answer your questions.
Drop in any of these days between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. during the summer:

Attend a Shadow Day
Spend a day in the life of an IVA High student. Prospective students, including 8th graders, can shadow current students and experience our classes, community, and culture firsthand. We host shadow days throughout the year, with 10 spots available each day.
Shadow days resume in September for the 2026-27 school year.
A sample shadow day
- 10:55 to 11:15 a.m. — Arrival and welcome
- 11:20 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. — Classroom engagement
- 12:35 to 1:00 p.m. — Lunch provided, plus a student panel Q&A
- 1:00 to 1:15 p.m. — Reflection
