Our IVA High staff are back in action! We welcomed our staff back on campus today to complete our first day of professional development. 💡📚 Today our staff engaged with their educational philosophies and what the spirit of IVA High looks like in the day to day practiced. Amidst the reading and discussion groups, we also got a little crafty with personal shadow boxes and intellectual virtue zines! We are only 15 days away from the start of the school year, and our teachers are preparing their classrooms and curriculum for YOU! 💻
At IVA High, you don't squeeze yourself into a one-size-fits-all schedule. You build the path that fits where you're headed, and you can change your mind along the way. Our AXS to College & Career Pathways gives you three ways to explore post-high school opportunities in partnership with LBCC: College Pathway -- Aiming for a four-year university? Load up on dual enrollment, earn free transferable credits through @LBCC, and walk into college already decided on your major. Career & Technical Pathway -- Want real-world skills and experience now? Build toward certifications, learn a trade, and graduate ready to take the next step. Individualized Pathway -- Still figuring it out? Mix and match. Try a little of everything until something clicks. No pressure to have it all decided on day one. Three paths. Zero pressure. All you. Which one sounds like you? Your teen deserves a school that fits, not one they have to fit into. IVA High welcomes transfer students in every grade, through 12th. Whether they've faced bullying, felt invisible at a bigger school, or been homeschooling lately, there's a place for them here. All students start August 25. New Student Orientation is August 24. Transferring is simple. Belonging is the point.
