A lot can happen in ten years. Hundreds of students have walked through IVA High’s doors, earned college credits before graduation, and gone on to shape what comes next in their lives. On April 2, we’ll take a moment to honor this journey together.

We invite your family to our 10th Anniversary Celebration and Spring Exhibition of Learning on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at 1637 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90813. Admission is free.

IVA High’s Exhibition of Learning

The Exhibition of Learning (EoL) is IVA’s signature event, and for good reason. Students spend the year developing original, project-based work across disciplines, then present it publicly to families, community members, and professionals. They show up as experts: scientists, journalists, artists, and advocates. Students share their work through art installations, live performances, and student-led forums.

Our community members who’ve attended year after year tell us it’s one of the most powerful evenings they’ve experienced at IVA. This year, it also includes a ribbon-cutting for our new backyard garden, a community grant-funded learning space built for outdoor science and hands-on collaboration.

What a Decade Looks Like At IVA High

Since opening in 2016 as a tuition-free, fully accredited public high school, IVA High has built a track record that speaks for itself:

• 98% of seniors graduate with 6 or more free college credits (Long Beach City College dual enrollment)
• 30% graduate with 12 or more free college credits
• 96% get into one of their top two college choices
• Seven consecutive years of above-average academic growth in reading, writing, and math (NWEA)
• Voted Long Beach’s Favorite Charter High School (2025), and a Niche Top 10% Most Diverse School in California
